This software is free and considered shareware. A link to the devolper is provided. These programs are very helpful. I personally use these regulary on friends, customers and my very own Computers.


1. TCP-IP Optimizer
This tool allows you to set the TCP-IP settings for maxium performance. Just download and run this program and the performance of your internet and network connection will increase. Download Here

2. Adaware
This program is essential. This is a spyware detection and removal program. Even if you think your a safe internet user and very careful I would be willing to bet that you have some type of spyware on you machine. It is made by Lavasoft click the link to read about it. Download Here

3. Google Toolbar
I personal have this on all my computers. I just love it. Once installed you will have a Google search box added right below the the standard address box. The other great feature is a built in pop-up blocker. Download Here

4. Analogx
This is another pop-up blocker. I use this along with the google toolbar pop-up blocker. I dont know of any pop up blocker that will take care of every pop up ad. That where this one comes in. If a pop up ad comes through while running other pop up blocker programs you can manually add that ad and it will be elimanted in the future. Download Here

5. SE Soft Sandra
This is a very powerfull tool. This program can perform a detailed diagnostics of your system. Its not for everyone but if you feel you are good at computer related things you will be alright. This software will tell you anything you want to know about your PC from software conflicts to hardware problems. It also has a performence improvement wizard that tells you things that need to be upgraded. Download Here

7. Bandwidth Test
This is a great tool. Just type in your area code and the type of internet service you have and boom. In a few seconds you will know what the speed of your connection is. This is also useful if you have DSL with a guarenteed speed. Go to Cnet now no download needed.

8. Start Up manager (win 2000, Xp)
This program adds a startup icon in the control panel. This will allow you to remove unwanted items the are loaaded during startup. Download here.
